"When we boarded 828, we had no idea what a... tortured, life-changing journey we were about to embark on. Now we're finally at the end. I don't know what we're gonna face tonight. But I do know my son sent that beacon. He gathered us all here. And I have to believe it was important. That it was worth... worth his sacrifice."

Low Hanging Fruit[]

After Flight 828 landed, there were five buses to take the passengers home. The fifth bus there were 11 passengers, either a foreign national or someone with no living relatives, people who won't be missed. They were experimented on by the Major. One of the 11 was Marko Valeriev. Lena Rasmussen was add to their experiments. [1] Autumn was one of the detainees but was released to spying on the passengers. Once they were rescued [2] they were taken to a secret location owned by Fiona Clarke’s friend. They were coined “Low Hanging Fruit” by Saanvi. Mick was able to bring Paul into consciousness by having a Calling. [3]

When Daly took Fiona, the ones who were still brain dead were put in a home for the disabled. When they were found Saanvi received a Calling showing they were actually in the Divine Consciousness. [4] After they were removed from being able to receive Callings they needed life support. Some of them died when the DC didn't receive enough power. [5] Cal discovered that these passengers were still stuck in a constant state of Calling, but he was unable to access whatever they were receiving when Cal entered the Divine Consciousness. [6]

The surviving patients were eventually awakened by Saanvi with a miniature EMP on June 1, 2024, the day before the Death Date with Marko uttering "Kovcheg" as he regained consciousness. [6] However, none of them remembered anything between their time with the Major and being awakened. Security camera footage revealed what Marko had uttered which was eventually translated to mean "Ark," revealing that Cal needed to combine his Omega Sapphire with the one in the fragment of Noah's Ark. Science[]

The blood marker looks like ischemia it occurs when the circulation is limited, but the potency of this marker is a par with a stroke victim. The scientific explanation to what happen was 828ers were taken close to death extremely close and then brought back if the faucet of blood circulation has been turned off and then suddenly it was turned on high. [8]

The DNA anomalies of the passengers show a unique combination of Iron, titanium, and multiple other components, but together, they crystallize to form sapphire. [9]

Calling[]

In their brain scan there's activation in the insular cortex, consistent with someone experiencing hallucination. Similar to schizophrenia. [10]

In "Point of No Return" when they tried to artificial replicate the callings they used electro-cortical stimulation. To connect the brainwaves of the missing 828's. This is wildly theoretical and dangerous. [11] Some passengers are more sensitive than the others like Cal and Marko.[12]

When Saanvi got ride of her callings by getting ride of the ischemia marker (Airplane Bottles), she experience black outs and high dopamine levels. She received a dopamine antagonist that's helpful in psych cases. [13]

Resurrected[]

When the plane exploded in New York, the plane itself had died. [14] A piece of 828, the tailfin, was in Eureka when it vanish (the same night that Zeke survived his Death Date and the Meth Heads drowned and Saanvi killed the major) and materialized in the ocean. The tailfin was resurrected like all the passengers. Unlike the rest of the plane the corrosion on the recovered tailfin is consistent with having spent seven years in saltwater, the time elapsed since 828's original disappearance. Kelly Taylor, a passenger who died of a gunshot wound to the head, her corpse now shows her injuries are consistent with those sustained in an airplane's midair explosion. The subject's tissues recently produced traces of a tropical algae strain unique to the Caribbean. A strain that's a genetic match with the algae on the recovered tailfin. The tailfin and Kelly Taylor's body are reverting to being back at the bottom of the ocean, scientifically proven that they died on the plane. The manifest was divine intervention. [15]

Death Date[]

Exactly five and a half years after their resurrection, all of the surviving passengers of Flight 828 gather on Storm King Mountain to face their Death Date. As the Apocalypse begins, Flight 828 emerges from beneath the ground, restored by Cal Stone's combination of his Omega Sapphire with that in Noah's Ark. The passengers board the plane which is piloted into the air by Michaela Stone and Amuta Clarke. Onboard the plane where it all began for them, the passengers undergo the Last Trial with 11 -- Angelina Meyer, Paul Santino, Autumn Cox, Randall Barr and 7 others -- burning to ash when they fail. United, the passengers face off against the shadowy figure that appears to judge them and they emerge victorious, beating the Death Date and stopping the Apocalypse. Afterwards, Michaela and Amuta fly the plane back into the Glow.

When the passengers emerge from the Glow again, they discover that as a reward for beating the Death Date, they have been sent back in time to April 7, 2013, they day that Flight 828 was supposed to land, giving everyone a second chance. All of the passengers who have died along the way are resurrected as well, although without their memories of anything that had happened. The only passengers who aren't rewarded and thus remain dead are the 11 who failed to beat the Death Date, becoming a mystery for the rest of the world. [16]
