Biography[]
Before Flight 828[]
During Flight 828[]
After Flight 828[]
Adrian got a calling that led him to believe he should start a religion surrounding the events of 828. His father was a preacher, so he likely got a lot of charisma from him. Many people joined and he had people believing that the passengers were in some way divine. During a sermon, he mentioned another great miracle happening, which led to the events of "Emergency Exit".
After the fire, he no longer served the Church, and instead began to believe that passengers were agents of the apocalypse. He believed the callings were convincing passengers that they were good, such as when he saved the doctor who delivered Grace's baby, when they were actually the cause of the initial problem, saying that the reason Grace had a problem in the first place was because they were following the calling to a rocky area. He would often say "Signs and wonders" in reference to Matthew 24:24 "False prophets will arise from the dead to perform signs and wonders". ("Course Deviation")
When the passengers are being judged on the Death Date, Adrian begins to burn up for his evil deeds even though he was seeking forgiveness from the people he hurt. Eagan realized deep down that Adrian is a good person and therefore pleaded with God to take him instead and gave him his mothers necklace. This worked and Adrian was spared but Eagan begins to burn up. While Eagan stated that he deserved this fate for his selfish nature, Adrian convinced him that sacrificing his life was the most selfless thing he could do, thus causing Eagan to also be spared and they both end up beating the death date.
A New Timeline[]
The passengers who survived their judgement soon realized they had been sent back to April 7, 2013, which was when 828 was originally supposed to land, and then realized they had been given a second chance. By traveling back in time, a new timeline was created where the passengers arrived on time and got a chance to live the 5 1/2 years they originally lost. Taking advantage of his second chance, Adrian asked Eagan to work with him in founding a business; Adrian's moral goodness and Eagan's sly business skills would pair well.
Trivia[]
- Despite not being listed as one of Vance's persons of interest, Adrian is said to have shown up when the plane blew up, which Vance said automatically put them on the list.("Unclaimed Baggage", "Crosswinds")
