Biography[]

Before Flight 828[]

Grace is nearly 32 years old. She has a younger step-brother, Tarik, and a step-father who owned a family restaurant and married Grace's mother sometime after Grace's father died. Somewhere in her life, she met and married Ben Stone. The two had twins, Olive and Cal Stone. At some point, Grace became estranged from Tarik when her step-father became ill and eventually passed away. Grace was unable to help her step-brother during this due to Cal Stone being diagnosed with leukemia. She and Olive take an earlier flight back from Jamaica and safely arrive back in New York after a family vacation while Ben, Michaela, and Cal all disappear on flight 828.

After Flight 828's Disappearance[]

While mourning and struggling with the loss of her husband and son, she meets Danny at a grief support group. Grace is angry with her husband Ben Stone for choosing to take a later flight and taking the last few months left with Cal before his expected death due to his leukemia diagnosis. Eventually, she decides to let go of her anger and grief. She gets rid of everything belonging to Cal and Ben, not knowing Olive convinced him to place their belongings in storage. She eventually starts a relationship with Danny, who helps raise her troubled daughter Olive.

After Flight 828's Return[]

When flight 828 returns, Grace originally hides her relationship with Danny from her family. She is eventually pressured by Olive into telling Ben the truth. She eventually breaks up with Danny and reconciles with Ben. After she and her husband finally steady their lives together, Grace discovers she is pregnant but isn't confident in the baby's paternity and hides her pregnancy from Danny. However, Grace eventually starts to experience Callings, which to the Stones, means the baby is Ben's and not Danny's. However, they never complete an official paternity test. Grace eventually gives birth to a baby girl, Eden Stone, and stops receiving Callings after the baby is born.

After the Meth Heads are revived from the lake, Grace, Cal, and Eden go to Grace's estranged step-brother Tarik for assistance in hiding out at his house in the woods in a small town. Ben and the others are unable to join them due to new media coverage on the Tail fin of flight 828 resurfacing. Grace eventually mends her relationship with Tarik by telling him about Cal's diagnosis as her reason behind not helping him care for her dying step-father. Tarik, however, wants to open an 828 themed restaurant with her and one night in a bar slips that his sister is in town, exposing their presence there to the media. Their car is vandalized the next morning and Tarik's slip up is revealed, prompting them all to leave the house for their safety and go hide in the woods in their secret childhood hiding spot. When Ben arrives at the house searching for Grace, Jace begin shooting, prompting Tarik to go to the shed to search for their father's old rifle. Tarik is stabbed to death by Jace devastating Grace who almost shoots him in a rage. Grace returns to New York with her family, taking in Angelina Meyer into her home who Michaela and Zeke saved from her religious parents in Costa Rica. Olive senses something off about Angelina who believes Eden is her guardian angel and that they are connected, but Grace originally dismisses her concerns. Angelina eventually submits Eden to a trial by fire, setting fire to the Stone's home and endangering Eden. This prompts Grace to kick her out of their home despite protests from Cal who secretly hides her in their home for some time. When Cal begins experiencing burns from the Callings due to experiments on the tail fin, Angelina helps him reach Eureka and they part ways. Grace and Ben go to Eureka to save him, but are unable to convince Dr. Gupta and Cal disappears after touching the tail fin to prove his point, much to Grace's horror.

In Mayday (Part 2) , Grace is stabbed by Angelina Meyer while attempting to save Eden from being kidnapped by her. While lying on the ground, an 18 year old Cal appeared in front of her and placed his stuffed dragon behind her head as a pillow. Despite the sudden age difference, Grace immediately recognized Cal and told him, "Cal, my sweet, sweet, boy. Take care of each other.", before dying due to her injuries.

in Inversion Illusion, Grace appears before Ben as a illusion in a fake calling made by Angelina using the omega sapphire to trick Ben into bringing Eden to Grace's grave.

In Final Boarding, after the passengers beat the Death Date, 828 is sent back in time to April 7, 2013, which was when 828 was originally supposed to land, thereby creating a new timeline. An alive Grace, having no memories from the time 828 disappeared to the time of her death in the original timeline, greets her family when they arrive. Ben is happily reunited with his wife and he introduces her to Saanvi, who can cure Cal's cancer.
