Noah's Ark

Flight 828 Is meant to be the next Noah's Ark, the passengers' place of judgment on whether or not the Apocalypse will happen.

Description

The Noah's Arc contains the Omega Sapphire compound, and traces of a peacock fused between the shards. Both the peacock and the wood DNA samples are roughly 6,000 years old. Because the Noah's Arc has sapphire, the misuse of the Noah can lead to tremors.

History

Destination Unknown

They found a piece of driftwood, the only recovery specimen on the planet coated with the particular sapphire compound, the Omega Sapphire. That has been buried for millennia until seismic activity brought it to the surface on the day of Flight 828 disappearance. Located just south of Armenia (40 kilometers) in Eastern Turkey, near a dormant volcano, Mount Ararat. It contains trace elements of biological material of a peacock fused between the shards. Both the peacock and the wood DNA samples are roughly 6,000 years old. Saanvi figured it was most likely a vessel transporting animals, laden with sapphire, found near Mount Ararat which is believed to be the final resting place of Noah's Ark.

Bogey

While Saavi simulated dark lightning onto Noah's Ark, she started to have tears of blood. Even though Saavi did the same thing as the other scientist her effect, affected her self and the piece Noah's Ark. It vanished at 7:44pm and returned precisely 37 milliseconds later, causing an earthquake swarm, a cluster of tiny tremors, at its place was the epicenter. (This is the first evidence that the misuse of the sapphire can cause tremors. (Aftershock theory))

Compass Calibration

While testing the Noah's Ark it started an earthquake, but this time the epicenter was 80 miles away from Eureka, opening up the kind of fissure that you'd see near a volcano. There's no volcano in New York, at least not yet. The epicenter happened in the center of Zeke's cave, the Meth Head's lake, the river that James Griffin came out of. To Saavi this means a message to stop, so she throws the piece of the Noah's Ark into the magma, stopping the volcanic activity.

Mayday

In Eagan's Calling he sees a raven. Noah sent a raven to look for dry land before sending the dove, but it never returned. In Epic of Gilgamesh, Ancient Mesopotamian religious myth. A lot of the text describes Noah as the savior of the world, other see him as the destroyer. In their version, Noah is disgusted with the evil in the world, and after he failed to convince people to do good, he asked God to bring on the flood. Noah's Ark before it, Flight 828 is a harbinger of the end of times. "Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins."

Rendezvous

Noah’s Ark, the Apocalypse Calling, reveals that Flight 828 Is meant to be the next Noah's Ark. In "Rendezvous" is revealed that the Death Date is not only for 828 passengers, but for the rest of the world. Flight 828 is the passengers' place of judgment on whether or not the Apocalypse will happen.

Formation

The day before the Death Date, Michaela, Cal and Olive discover that the most recent Callings have brought back the three original symbols that brought them the Death Date, albeit in a slightly different form: Zeke's drawing of Gemini, Cal's drawing of his recent peacock Calling and the wooden dragon figurine that Henry Kim gave to Cal. The three realize that the symbols that brought them the Death Date might just hold the answers to stopping it.

The Stones share the three symbols with Saanvi Bahl, but Saanvi believes that they are going to die due to Marko Valeriev's Calling of the word "kovcheg," or "coffin." Nevertheless, they try to figure out what the symbols might mean this time. The peacock told them what they need, two Omega Sapphires, the Gemini symbol connects them across space and time in a way that they might not even realize is likely the how, showing them how the Omega Sapphires connect in a different way while the dragon represents the location. Saanvi realizes that the dragon Shenlong, the king of the storms, is directing them to Storm King Mountain. At the same time, Marko reveals that "kovcheg" also means "ark" and calls a picture of Noah's Ark "noeviat kovcheg." Saanvi reveals that she had thrown a piece of Noah's Ark into the fissure at the base of Storm King Mountain. The piece contains Omega Sapphire which the peacock Calling said has to connect. The Ark piece was unearthed from Mount Ararat when Flight 828 returned as if it was reaching out after thousands of years. The three symbols are telling them that Cal needs to combine his piece of Omega Sapphire with the piece in Noah's Ark.

When Adrian asks Angelina where's her Noah's Ark, Eagan knew where it was when he over heard Saanvi talk.

That night, Cal sacrifices himself to combine his Omega Sapphire with the piece in Noah's Ark. As a result, a beam of light shoots into the sky, summoning the surviving passengers for the Last Trial.

Final Boarding

Flight 828 is restored on the Death Date after Cal combines his Omega Sapphire with a piece of Noah's Ark, emerging from the crevice that Noah's Ark had been tossed into. The plane acts as the passengers' place of judgment on whether or not the Apocalypse will happen. The surviving passengers board the plane and take off as the world ends undergoing the Last Trial.

Trivia

• The region where the driftwood was found has an abundance of fault lines, it was theories a series of quakes moved it inch by inch, unlike the seismic activity that unearthed 828's tailfin from the ocean floor. People claim they felt the earthquake, but there's no scientific proof of an earthquake.
• Both the tailfin and the Noah's Arc came back and need to be return. Dr. Cooper commenting "we took something from Mount Ararat. And now it's almost like Ararat is coming to take it back." Saanvi throw the Noah's Ark piece into a fissure, and that's why they thought the need to destroy the tailfin at first.
