Plot[]

In "Manifest" Season 1, Episode 2, titled "Reentry," the mystery deepens as the passengers of Flight 828 struggle to comprehend the unexplainable events surrounding their return.

[Callings and Visions]

Following their inexplicable reappearance, the passengers continue to experience strange "callings" or visions that guide them towards specific actions. Ben Stone, still haunted by the voice of a mysterious little girl saying "set them free," begins to dig into the lives of the passengers to understand their shared experiences.

Michaela Stone, a police officer, grapples with survivor's guilt and an uncertain future with her fiancé Jared, who has moved on and married her best friend during her absence. Despite the emotional toll, Michaela remains determined to make sense of the visions and the connection they share.

[Cal's Drawings]

Cal Stone, Ben's leukemia-stricken son, is particularly affected by the callings. His drawings reveal cryptic symbols and haunting imagery, including a picture of the plane exploding mid-air. His visions seem to hold critical clues about the nature of their return and the purpose behind their shared experiences.

[Government Investigation]

As the government investigates the anomaly of Flight 828, NSA Director Vance takes a keen interest in the passengers' case. He conducts passenger interviews, hoping to glean valuable information about the inexplicable event. However, the passengers remain as puzzled as the authorities, with no memory of the missing five and a half years.

[Family Reunions]

Back home, Ben's sister Michaela struggles to reconnect with her nephew Cal and balance her police duties with her newfound calling. Meanwhile, Ben's wife, Grace Stone, grapples with the return of her husband, who was presumed dead. The emotional turmoil of the family's reunion is palpable as they navigate the complexities of their rekindled relationships.

[The Calling's Guidance]

Despite the challenges, Ben and Michaela decide to embrace the callings and follow their guidance. Their second calling leads them to a young shoplifter who is in danger. They manage to save him from a dangerous accident, which sparks the attention of the media and draws more scrutiny to the passengers' miraculous return.

[The Bond Among Passengers]

As the passengers' shared experiences become more evident, they start to come together to form a unique bond. Some embrace their callings with curiosity and hope, while others fear the unknown and potential consequences. A sense of unity and purpose emerges among the diverse group, driven by their shared quest for understanding.

[The Mysterious Little Girl]

Meanwhile, Cal's visions lead him to encounter a mysterious little girl who seemingly shares a connection with him. Her significance and role in the enigmatic events remain unclear, but she becomes a recurring presence in Cal's visions, guiding him towards unexplained truths.
